Estimate when each payment rail will send.
Choose the payment order date and funding method to estimate ACH, virtual card, wire, and check send dates across Federal Reserve business days.
Methodology and timing assumptions
Wire-funded electronic payments are estimated for the processing start date, with checks two business days later. ACH-funded electronic payments are estimated two business days later, with checks four business days later.
Wire timing assumes drawdown approval and receipt of funds before 11:00 AM ET. ACH transactions over $1 million may require one additional business day. See the official Federal Reserve holiday schedule (opens in a new tab).

Frequently asked questions
Is this a live payment-status lookup?
No. This calculator provides a planning estimate from the order date and funding method. Suppliers looking for an actual payment should use Track a Payment.
How are weekends and holidays handled?
A weekend or Federal Reserve holiday order date rolls forward to the next Federal Reserve business day before the rail-specific timing is applied.
Why might the actual send date differ?
Funding approval, when funds arrive, bank processing, payment exceptions, payment amount, and program-specific requirements can change actual timing.
